For the first day of holidays we all got up early (apart from Dawn). My 16yr old cousin Peter was arriving from Hong Kong for Xmas and New Year on a 7am flight. We left approx 6.30am and got to the airport within 5 mins of the plane landing and 20 mins later he was there in the arrivals hall. He had grown a lot and is now a few inches taller than me. We went home and the kids took him skateboarding. It wasn’t great weather as indeed it has not been good all summer. However it perked up a bit and we took the ferry to Cronulla and went  for  a swim and jumping at Gunnamatta Baths. The kids had a look around the shops and Pete bought a pair of shorts. Came home and Pete fell asleep on the sofa for 4hrs, and the rest of us felt the same. I cooked dinner and the evening finished a bit hazy and we all went to bed quite late.
