My brother had a baby today – its a big deal as I only have one brother (no sisters) and it’s his first baby. For someone in his 40’s you imagine he might not have many more opportunities. Luckily all is fine, which is always a relief. He lives in New Zealand, so he’s a bit like me in that he doesn’t have any family nearby – although his partner Toni has her’s closyby so that’s pretty handy!
