Driving home from a party, we went past a place in Sutherland that had Xmas lights out. It was bad enough that the QVB put theirs out in the last week of October, but you expect shops to be money-grabbing bastards and push the boat out, but its sad to see that people at home are “getting excited” by the coming season. I am not a grumpy old man, I like Xmas and the whole season, but jeez, can’t it wait until at least December ?
